Kayla Cudia, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Kayla earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of Texas at El Paso. Originally from New Jersey, she moved frequently due to military family life but fell in love with North Carolina and chose to return after PT school.
With experience in outpatient orthopedics, Kayla specializes in treating a variety of orthopedic injuries, focusing on pre- and post-operative recovery and return-to-sport rehabilitation. She is actively pursuing a dry needling certification to enhance her treatment approach for musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Additionally, Kayla has developed a strong interest in pelvic health, helping women navigate pregnancy and postpartum recovery to regain strength and confidence in their activities. As an equestrian herself, she is passionate about working with equestrian athletes to optimize their performance and facilitate their return to riding after injury.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys exploring new trails, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with her family and her dog, Milo.
